This project presents a new concept in the harnessing of urban air currents using small-scale generators. The conceptualization and development of the project is drawn from various technological and natural fields, allowing us to comprehend the characteristics of the conceptual proposal.
From a design point of view, a solution is proposed so as to improve current deficiencies in the microwind energy sector. The new concept here proposed points to a sub-sector in the design of microwind turbines, contributing new ideas and combinations so as to promote clean, renewable wind energy. To address this problem, the dynamics of wind currents in cities were studied.
This project aims to make a contribution from the position of microwind energy design, obtaining more efficient and integrated technology, which might soon be introduced into the urban landscape and into the everyday environment.
