Redesign of a superhero

This is a project in which identity design and the development of pieces of conceptual art come together to result in the redesign, or the revision, of a character from comic books. The existing character, Nightwing, undergoes a process of adaptation, as film or video productions do, that places him in more modern, more up to date era. At the same time, the discourse that lies behind the symbol is imbued with more realism and more credibility.

This work arises from the need to search for and work in spheres in which design is not so recognised, while at the same time, with the intention of taking a deeper look at the skills deployed over the four years of the degree.
