Recome is the graphic identity for a non profit-making Barcelona-based organisation that has been created to foster the reuse of surplus food that ends up in the rubbish bins and which is still edible or that is near its expiry date.
The graphic language of this project is based on recycling: recycling of paper, media, collage, cut-outs, etc.
A strong typeface is used that will always work in black and robustly for it to have greater impact. There is a predominant use of paper craft, which recalls the cardboard boxes that we always find alongside rubbish bins, and there is also the image of a rubbish bag, which gives the graphic a tough appearance.
