Anna Martí - Phonic Republic

Phonic Republic

Phonic Republic is a protest organisation that champions justice and freedom of expression and works tirelessly to break the chains that bind musicians to copyright and record companies. Using a website, with an investment system, designed in such a way any user can collaborate with it, its aim is to release music gradually by buying the corresponding rights so that it can subsequently offer them to the public domain. Once released, the song can be used, shared and reproduced without restriction. To convey its philosophy, ideals and way of being, Phonic Republic uses a very hard-hitting format comprising typographical blocks, vectorial illustrations and highly characteristics corporate colours that make it easy to identify. The graphic code develops according to the organisation’s different applications. It can be found on the website where users can browse an unconventional website by moving vertically, thanks to the scroll resource on the website, to the member’s area, where users receive the basic elements that help them become a good member of the group, or to the different poster campaigns that they try and send the urban space. The aim is always to show the benefits of this new music business model based on favouring the public domain and that of the artist.
