The project consists of the creation of the Mediterranean Sea Festival, a festival with a critical vision with regard to the exploitation of natural resources and the squandering of the environment. At the same time, like any other festival, it is a leisure event, with fun and entertainment. Through these aspects, the aim is to raise awareness (educate) society to reach a sustainable use of resources.
The graphics for the festival try to break with the classicism that the idea of the Mediterranean traditionally has.
What is sought is for the Nostrum Festival to become the driving force of a new concept of the Mediterranean Sea, in which the societies belonging to it find a common nexus to get more involved in raising awareness and preventing the problems that are strangling our sea. This way, the festival is also understood as a meeting point between the different cultures that live and coexist in the Mediterranean.
Culture has to serve to enthuse and bring together people towards a common objective: preserving the sea.
