Multiskimmer Gerris is a project that aims to optimise different aspects of a hydrocarbon skimmer. A skimmer is an industrial machine that has the capacity to separate fluid liquids from water that have a lower density than the water (oils, hydrocarbons, petrol, etc.).
The project is intended for clients in the maritime sector and in industry that generate oil product waste mixed with water and that need highly selective separation.

Gerris is an industrial skimmer with a very extensive set of parts, 85% of which are made of a maritime aluminium alloy. This product can be adapted to the type of oil to be extracted, optimising extraction by up to 99.8%, and allows different power supplies to be combined depending on use.
