The aim of the project is to create a sofa that is easy to transport and assemble, that is comfortable and economic, designed for the nomadic type of life that characterises our age. The sofa fits in a 1,000x800x300 mm box, the design of which is also part of the project.
This piece of furniture comprises chrome steel tubes, acrylic upholstery and 5-mm high-density foam. The upholstery is held in place by profiles and crossbars. A bar passes through the material on a track and a series of rubber screws ensure that it keeps the desired shape. The foam is fastened to the material by means of Velcro and a zip.
A whole family of products has been created comprising footrest, chair, table and sofa, which follows the same aesthetics and the same manufacturing process.
