"Misfitiso" Collection

The Misfitismo Collection is a series of illustrated fanzines without text which deal with a variety of mental illnesses. For this project specifically, four self-published volumes have been produced on the subject of schizophrenia, three of which deal with the illness using narrated stories. The final volume focuses on various reoccurring features in the work of ten well-known schizophrenic visual artists, whose work has been reinterpreted in a personal way through illustration.
The main objective of this project is to offer society economic access to subject matter that is habitually closed, with the goal of making the approach to the subject more open and comfortable.
