Handkit

Handkit is a system that helps people with physical disabilities to prepare food and carry it to where it is to be consumed.

The product is aimed at people who have problems with their hands, people who do not have hands and those who can only use one as they require assistance from an external element to keep themselves upright. The product's aesthetics are very neutral to allow the colour of the food to stand out.

The preparation kit is a set of objects that would be placed on the kitchen worktop and used every day. Thanks to this system, users can perform such basic actions as chopping, spreading, grating or simply opening a pack with just one hand.

The food carrying kit is a cross-laminated beech tray that can be hung around the neck by means of a simple joints system to help carry objects with just one hand. The surface is covered in a layer of non-slip foam to prevent the object placed on it from slipping.
