Football heraldry

Football is, without a doubt, one of the most consumed sports today, and although it many aspects it is renewing itself, there is an element that appears to be impervious to the passage of time: the badges.

This project consists of the analysis of the heraldic graphics of football from its beginnings and proposes a new and much more modern change. Offering a retrospective of the use of badges in the spheres of identity, a study has been made with the aim of better understanding their origins, and following the rules set out by heraldry, a new system has been created with which to articulate the new badges.

The challenge of this project has been to configure a transformation that makes a change visible without endangering the identity and the values both of the team and of the city that each badge represents.

With the aim of creating promotional pieces complementary to the badges, a series of posters has been designed, as well as an app that allows users to create their own badges.
