Extrem

The idea of Extrem arises from the desire to change the perception associated with wearing a body prosthesis, both by the user and by their environment. The loss of a limb is a traumatic event that is difficult to assume. For this reason, what is sought with the project is to aid the acceptance of this fact.

The proposal consists of an aesthetic sleeve prepared to protect a prosthetic leg and its components. This external shell is comprised of two parts, one placed below the knee and the other on the foot. They are interchangeable pieces that can be personalised and prepared for a sporty pace of life.
