Since its creation, the remote control has become almost indispensable. But that has not been enough for it to receive all the attention that it deserves from the design point of view. My project comprises a remote control designed by Bang & Olufsen, a company which applies more avant garde technology to be able to offer the best sound and image quality possible, as well as exclusive design and very carefully selected materials.
In terms of resistant constructive systems, the project will provide a localiser, a base which enables the battery to be loaded and a joystick and back-lit LCD screens which replace the keypad. The materials used are aluminium, due to its finish and resistance, and the LCD screens, which allow the iconographies to be transformed according to the multifunction chosen. The remote control has an ergonomic design, guaranteeing its functionality.
