Embuoil

EmbuOil is a domestic funnel-container for recycling used oil designed to facilitate and solve this very dirty process and also to raise awareness about the importance of recycling such polluting waste from the home.

EmbuOil has three parts: the body, funnel and lid. The oil bottle is used as a recipient-container. The funnel is attached to the body using a pressure clip. There is also an opening through which the bottle lid is placed and, once full, can be closed and thrown away. A third part, the lid, prevents unpleasant odours from leaking out. All the parts are ABS injection with a shiny smooth finish and have a capacity for 1-litre oil bottles.

Users do not come into contact with the oil at any point. The appliance fits neatly into any kitchen and is easy to clean. Its graphic expression has been developed and a colour decided, yellowy-orange (Pantone 143M), which identifies this waste material in the way that green identifies glass and blue is for paper. Graphic applications can also be used for the body and lid.
