Dong Nan Xi Bei (東南西北) is a way a sharing and spreading, indirectly, values, philosophy and history via a gastronomical and cultural experience.
The project was born from the will to transmit a full and rich culture that, through Western eyes, is still seen through an array of clichés about dragons, pandas, bamboo and red paper lanterns.
I therefore use graphic design to show a completely different reality and to create an abstraction of Chinese philosophy, applied to both the off- and online environments.
I will begin with an analysis off this philosophy, deepening my understanding of its bases and choosing the essential aspects to later translate into the final result, which will be produced as a brand identity applied to various communication methods.
