This project consists of designing an electric mountain bike to meet current and future demand for this type of vehicle in a growing market. An ambitious proposal that is not limited solely to solving the problems and inconveniences of use, with certain improvements made to vehicles on the market. The idea behind this project is what form this product should take in the medium term. To achieve this, cutting-edge components and own technologies are incorporated as logically as possible, including carbon fibre, dry transmission, gradual gear changes, reflective materials, etc.
The result is the product of the analysis, critique and the design of all the components involved. Innovative improvements have been made in all areas: production (a single mould for the dual-suspension and rigid model), safety (hidden battery with six-point fastening, reflective wheels with a 10 to 80o inclination), storage (it can be folded away to halve the width of the bicycle), use (removable pocket, rigid lights, L-shaped panel enabling the bike to be carried on the shoulders) and repairs (easy to disassemble), etc.
