I have created the graphic image for a franchise devoted exclusively to selling insects as food for humans. The aim is to make the insects look appealing and represent a small luxury. The target for the project would be young people, with a medium-high purchasing power, who are attracted by the idea of trying new things.

I want to arouse curiosity in those with a roving palate, reach people via attractive and inviting messages. The fundamental aspect is to promote it differently, seeking a message that reaches beyond the obvious.

This is how CUCA came about. Its main products would be batches of insects, ready meals and a series of recipes to help you cook using these new ingredients. So as not to fall into the trap of the obvious, I have decided not to use image of insects and have established textures as the main concept. This is how I display the insects, using natural and urban settings where they can be found. In addition, attractive messages are added to grab the target’s attention and arouse curiosity, and elements such as plates, towels, etc. to create a different combination using the same techniques.
