Currently, there are several studies that try to understand the subject of flowers. In the field of art and design the research proposals are diverse and try to emphasize the relationship that humans have with these living beings.
The aim of this project is based on the need to understand how people relate to flowers by means of their own link. To this end, questions are developed such as: why do I consider that I have a special sensitivity to flowers beyond being aesthetic ornaments; what is the relationship that flowers establish with the death of humans and what is the role of flowers today and their consumption.
In order to try to solve these questions, several methods have been carried out. The first one through bibliographic references, followed by a qualitative survey and finally an artistic practice typical of visual creation to encourage reflection. The research tries to find out in depth through customs, behaviours and cultural patterns the sensitivity that people have with flowers beyond the merely aesthetic perception. An investigation that can generate more ways of study.
