Clothes line for façades

The project proposes a system for hanging out washing that is integrated into the façades of apartment blocks that provides new solutions adapted to the users’ needs.

The possibility of personalising the colours and the finishes of the product allows this to be adapted to the façade and to harmonise with it. The washing is hidden from view from the public highway, so doing away with the image of clothes hanging out to dry over the street, without any order or arrangement, to come into line with the increasingly more widespread municipal regulations.

In order to improve the user - product communication, the user’s needs have been taken into account ergonomically and functionally, which has led to a product that not only adapts to the façade but also to the person, who is very often ignored in the more formal aspects of design.
