appArt is a space and a tool with the intention to create the most collaborative NFT on the planet: The Global NFT.
A mega digital sculpture made of sculptures created by different participants, called Totems. The Global NFT is a fractal sculpture and a museum that can be navigated virtually.
The formalisation of the project has become a constant dialogue between art and design, i.e. between container and content respectively.
Despite being a project about NFTs, the function of appArt has moved away from purely economic speculative bubbles, to give it a humanistic function and a real-life effect from the purely digital, as follows:
Each totem will acquire its individual value, which will add up to the value of the Global NFT. Once a creation cycle is completed, half of the value of the Global NFT will be returned to the artists on an equal basis generating equal value and opportunity. The other half will go to an NGO dedicated to an SDG agreed upon in the Agora.
appArt is an artistic and technological project that, with its focus on artistic democratisation and social equality, has evolved into a humanist project.
