Ampersand is an urban furniture design for use in green or asphalted spaces of university campuses. It comprises two benches and a table to be able to meet the needs of the users at which it is aimed, such as sitting done, studying, eating, lying down, reading, writing and resting.
It includes three modules with a very similar floor layout to reinforce its nature of product family. In elevation, by contrast, the heights vary, which is what imbues the set with vitality and movement. It has three anchorage points to the ground: one is a cast iron leg.
All of the elements are manufactured in liquid stone (concrete of very high specifications) that allows pieces to be created with smaller thicknesses and, therefore, lighter products.
The virtue of these elements is that, due to their inclined shape, they offer a great deal of versatility of composition and allow pleasant and dynamic landscapes that are also functional to be created However, they not only work as a set but can also do so separately.
