The 0 Shape

This project features a reflection on interaction between users and objects in the development of an experimental product. In contrast to workings of automatic mechanisms that require a minimal intervention on the part of users in the functioning of such objects, this project chooses instead to develop active and reflexive interaction in product handling, thus raising awareness of what it involves. Interaction, which is here understood as multidirectional participation, follows the idea of Open Design in working on the possibilities of a single form. The proposal is for a potential component, an indefinite design that the user would have to handle so as to turn it into something useful. By means of experimentation with form, different contexts and possible market options are hereby proposed.
