The aim of the Postgraduate Diploma in Web Design is to train professionals in the sphere of graphic design applied to the web.
It covers the specific features of online graphic design, both in terms of objectives, analysis and planning and the resources and treatment or management and direction of projects. It looks closely at the knowledge of publications management, the creation of managers, basic programming, audiovisual creation and the development of web and rich-media projects.
It is aimed both at anyone with a knowledge of other design fields, especially graphic design, and anyone with experience in professional practice.

Diego Fernández Learning the techniques and resources for the creation of videos and animations for the internet: characteristics of digital video, editing, interactivity, 2D animation (Flash), introduction to 3D animation and introduction to audio treatment.

Analysis and Management of Digital Publications (40h)
Analysis of the work process in the web sphere: specific features. Phases of a digital project. Interactive project management. Interactive scriptwriting. Information architecture. Usability. Accessibility. Indexing and positioning. Licences: Copyright, Copyleft, Creative Commons.
Design for CMS Content Managers (40h)
The CMS Content Management System as a standardised tool for complex web project management. Introduction to the work process with content management systems. Web layout with HTML + CSS. Working with content management systems: Indexhibit, Wordpress and Drupal.
Module: Digital Design Processes
Web Projects (40h)
Web project development practice: from the concept to obtaining a working prototype, through the graphic proposal, layout and installation on the server. Introduction: Specific features of design for the digital medium. Briefing, interaction design and information architecture. Concept of the graphic layout (Fireworks). Web layout in HTML + CSS (Dreamweaver). Installing the website on the server. Website indexing and positioning.
