Porosity

einaidea and the Enric Miralles Foundation organize Porosity, a symposium with presentations by Caterina Miralles, Rasheed Jalloul, Julia Spínola, Manuel Cirauqui and Mariona Moranta, moderated by Jack Isles. Fostering the cross-pollination of practices, generations and languages, Porosity explores our negotiations of gravity, the ways of floating and falling, the strategies for expanding, dissolving and becoming many. Bringing together bodies, images and voices, Porosity operates architectural thinking as a fluid platform in which objects and agencies can emerge, permeate and mutate. The symposium takes place within the framework of the first edition of MODEL. Barcelona Architecture Festival.

As part of the festival programming, einaidea also participates in El Protocol Barcelona, a symposium that acts as a manifesto of intentions with future objectives and aspirations for the city of Barcelona. einaidea is part of the “Public Education” panel, taking part in a program including architects, academics, urban planners, politicians, sociologists and cultural producers to discuss the means and methods with which we build, think—and dream—about cities and the urban. The presentations are structured around the idea of Regrowth, thinking through values, strategies and ideas that build contemporary cities.
