Interior and product designer specialising in yacht and residential interior design. He graduated in Interior and Product Design from Eina University Centre of Design and Art in Barcelona. During his studies, he completed an academic exchange at Politecnico di Milano, where he further developed his knowledge of yacht interior design and projects related to the maritime environment.
Teaching
He joins the teaching staff at Eina with the aim of bringing his experience in the international yacht design industry into the classroom.
His teaching approach is grounded in professional practice, with particular emphasis on the relationship between design concepts, technical development and construction processes. He aims to introduce students to the realities of professional design projects, from the initial conceptual stages through to their realisation.
Professional experience
He has spent a significant part of his professional career in Amsterdam, working in an international environment specialising in superyacht design and development, collaborating with design studios, multidisciplinary teams and some of the industry's leading shipyards.
His experience covers the various stages of yacht interior design projects, from initial concept development and spatial planning to furniture design, lighting, visualisations and technical documentation for construction. He has contributed to projects of different scales, ranging from medium-sized vessels to superyachts over 80 metres in length, also taking part in project coordination and delivery.
In 2025, he founded Atelier Cala, a yacht interior design studio based in Barcelona, where he serves as Founder and Design Director. The studio develops bespoke projects for yacht owners, shipyards and professional teams, with particular attention to light, materials, comfort and spatial quality.
