Workshop led by Gediminas Žygus, in the framework of einaidea ALTR\ES
einaidea invites practitioners and students interested in sonic media to join a two-day intensive workshop with Gediminas Žygus aka J. G. Biberkopf. Focused on the experience of selfhood in the post-Anthropocene, Žygus’s take on deep listening as a political tool aims to facilitate new, collective and other forms of aural encounter. Spanning explorations of the metaphysical and ecological intimacies of music-making, their practice aims to explore the sculptural and architectural dimensions of sound.
This workshop will take place at Eina Bosc on 20 and 21 May, and will culminate with a performance at Casa Montjuic on 22 May to which all workshop participants will be invited. If interested, please send a brief motivation note to einaidea@eina.cat by *11 May 2025.
