Writer Lana Bastašić talks with students of the Bachelor of Design

The writer Lana Bastašić has talked with students of the Degree in Design within the framework of the subject ADS (Art, design and societies). The meeting, which took place at the Teatre de Sarrià, was attended by Octavi Rofes and Víctor García Tur, professors of the subject. Bastašić presented her first novel, 'Catch the Rabbit'. 

Lana Bastašić is a writer of Yugoslavian origin, born in Croatia, of Serbian culture and emigrated to Bosnia. She has studied English philology, holds a master's degree in cultural studies, contributes to various Balkan publications, is a co-founder of the Bloom School and co-editor of the literary magazine Carn de Cap. Her work includes short stories, children's stories and poetry, for which she has been recognized with several awards: the Zija Dizdarevic of Bosnia (2010 and 2011), the jury of the Carver-Where I'm Calling From Montenegro festival (2010), the Zrenjanin festival of Serbia (2010), the Kamerni Teatar 55 of Sarajevo (2013) or the Targa Unesco prize of the Castello di Duino festival (2013) of Trieste. Catch the Rabbit, his first novel, was also a finalist for the NIN award, the most prestigious prize in Yugoslavian literature.
