Program Explore by different patterns of projection, the design and manufacturing of a supplement to an electronic device. Work session where participants will have the opportunity to devise a product designed specifically to be produced by additive manufacturing. The activity will take place in three blocks. An initial part based on an experimentation and formalization of design, a second block oriented to layout and prototyping , which will test the designs and a third block on 3Dmodeling where each participant will have the opportunity to create the CAD model to make one's own design, using 3D printing. The session aims to provide participants resources and design experimentation using additive manufacturing. The activity aims to provide the knowledge necessary in order to discern basic aspects of 3D printing such as equipment performance, production costs, the effectiveness of 3D modeling and assembly possibilities. The workshop will be organized by the faculty of the University, specialized on product design .
Participants and registration May participate in this workshop anyone who wishes and is interested in research and innovation in design. In order to register please send an email to coordinacio@eina.cat , giving account of the motivations and interests for participating. The workshop is limited to 25 participants. Participants will have the workshop space and the University computers to develop the necessary modelling in the 3rd block.
