As part of the 7th edition of the gaudeamusPROJECTA Awards organised by the Official College of Graphic Design of Catalonia:
Fuad Ajibola Kareem has won the gaudeamus Identia, which rewards open looks and recognition regarding visions of gender, identity and inclusion, with his Final Project of the Bachelor of Design ¿A mí me consideras negro?, tutored by Enric Mas, Jo Milne and Diego Ramos. The project is a representation of blackness in Barcelona based on the experience of the young people (blacks and Afro-descendants) who live there.
Tania Eugenia Torrent Dàvila was runner-up for her Final Project of the Bachelor of Design Inclusiva, tutored by Pilar Górriz and Laia Clos, which is a publishing house based on the limitations and abilities of people with visual disabilities.
Anna Fuentes Guil was a finalist with her Final Project of the Bachelor of Design, tutored by Pilar Górriz and Laia Clos, DIX-IT, a project that addresses the educational needs of people with dyslexia, while raising questions about the current education system.
The presentation of the selected projects and the awards gala took place on Thursday 10 October at the Archive of the Crown of Aragon in Barcelona, and can be seen on the YouTube Channel of the Official College of Graphic Design of Catalonia.
