On 13 November, illustrator Óscar Astromujoff will talk about his experience as a visual creator in the talk entitled “A Way of Looking”, as part of the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques.
Óscar Astromujoff’s work is extensive and focuses on painting and illustration (newspapers, books, magazines, advertising, etc.). His work has been exhibited internationally in individual shows such as Another Chance, Joan Rosnikoff Gallery (Boston, USA) and In the Margin, Punto Arte Gallery (Barcelona), and group shows such as the ones organised by SAAP (Argentinian Society of Artistic Artists).
He has illustrated books by a wide number of authors for various publishers, including Círculo de Lectores (Bertelsman Group), Plaza y Janés, Grijalbo, Penguin Random House, Mondadori, Sperling, etc.
Óscar Astromujoff has created covers and illustrations for magazines published in the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Chile, Greece, Italy and Portugal, and also for newspapers such as La Vanguardia, where he has regularly collaborated on opinion pages and arts supplements since 1992.
