Varvara Fomina, winner of a Lletra Petita Illustration prize

Varvara Fomina, a student on the EINA Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques, is one of the winners of the 4th Lletra Petita Illustration prize, an award presented biannually by the Professional Association of Illustrators of Catalonia and Barcelona Libraries.

Varvara’s work will be used to illustrate the quarterly calendar of the children’s activities held in Barcelona’s libraries.

Out of the works submitted, 17 have been selected to be part of an exhibition that will be staged at the Clarà Library. These illustrations include pieces by EINA Bachelor’s Degree in Design student, Clara Cuba; students on the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques: Alèxia Adrover and Alícia Jiménez; and students on the Specialisation Course in Illustration for Children's and Teenagers' Publications and the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration: Catalina Mekis and Constanza Olea.
