EINA participates in the Taula Barcelona Creativa, a platform for the representation and participation of the creative industries sector, strategic for the economic and social development of the city, promoted by the Department of Creative Industries of the Barcelona City Council.
This platform is set up as a meeting place for the different agents of the creative sectors: schools, universities, companies, professionals, organising bodies, dissemination programmes, and representatives of the administrations.
The presentation of this space for participation and debate took place on 3 March at Disseny Hub Barcelona and was attended by Pau de Solà-Morales, director of EINA.
Within the framework of the constitution of the Taula Barcelona Creativa, the Map of the Creative Industries in Barcelona was also presented, a document that offers a definition and characterisation of the cultural and creative industries in the city, with a geolocalised database that brings together international references of successful experiences in this field. Its aim is to be a tool for improving knowledge of the ecosystem of the economic and business fabric of the creative sector to establish new priorities for its promotion and development. The analysis model structures the city's creative industries along four axes: visual arts, performing arts and heritage; cultural industry; creative industries and activities; and articulation services and auxiliary industries.
