Eina collaborates with Simon with the UTOPIA project, tutored by Jordi Blasi and aimed at 4th year Bachelor of Design students.
The Catalan multinational, a specialist in technological solutions focused on lighting, connectivity and electrical material, has set the students the challenge of rethinking home automation, specifically the redesign of a basic family unit.
In this initiative, ten students will develop a speculative project that imagines a home from the perspective of its integral, industrialised construction and integrates the energy resource control systems of a conventional home.
The resulting proposals will be presented in January at ‘La casa de la luz’, Simon's Barcelona headquarters.
