The subject Basic Drawing of students of the 1st year in the Degree in Design, following the collaboration between EINA and MNAC, chose the museum as the perfect scenario for the exploration of the possibilities of sketching. The site proved relevant, given the recent reopening of the collection of Modern Art and the richness and variety of the artistic materials exhibited (paintings, sculptures, drawings, photographies, posters, films, models, etc.). The booklets used, chosen for this project for their size and lightness, allowed to work on-site without the need for a large infrastructure, taking notes of both the exhibition’s space and the more exhaustive elements of detail. The use of a marker supplemented the work on this support, allowing direct and agile results, that will now be exhibited at EINA’s lobby during the week of May 24th; contextualizing Mr. Juan José Lahuerta’s participation in the next EINA a les 8 cultural program, scheduled for next Thursday May 28th, at 8pm.
