"Shark attack?" is the exhibition project by Sònia Serrano, student on the University Master's Degree in Research in Art and Design.
"With this project, I’d like to change the bad image that sharks have. A lot of people still see them as sea monsters who mercilessly attack everything around them. However, the data show that they aren’t a real danger to people; the annual number of attacks and fatalities worldwide is very low. In fact, it’s sharks who should be fleeing humans, as they’re the ones who are in danger of extinction due to over-fishing. If sharks were to disappear, it would break the balance in the oceans, and this could have serious consequences for marine life and for us."
