Salvador Segura, lecturer on the Bachelor in Design at Eina, has received the 2026 RE-FAD Rehabilitation Award for his role as Director of Works Execution for the first phase of the rehabilitation of Anònima Manresana, a historic industrial building in Manresa listed as a Local Cultural Heritage Site (BCIL).
The project has restored this industrial heritage complex for new public uses, combining the preservation of its architectural character with sustainability, energy efficiency and contemporary functional requirements.
The rehabilitation project also formed part of Eina's teaching activities. During the 2024–2025 academic year, students from the Intervention in Existing Spaces course visited the site to gain first-hand insight into the rehabilitation process and the technical challenges involved.
