Round Table: Designer’s associations in a collaborative context

Francesc Crous, professor at EINA, will participate in this round table, moderated by Dr. Anna Calvera, together with ADCV (Associació de Dissenyadors de la Comunitat Valeciana), FIUbcn, FAD, BCD and READ (Red Española de Asociaciones de Diseño). The activity’s main objective is to gather top designers to discuss and share impressions on how professional relationships should be conducted in order to continue to be a key factor in professional developement.

Human relationships are a key factor for the development of design. Sharing projects , concerns and undertaking combined action among friends is still a key reality today . Behind this vision, associations, collective groups and diverse groupings were born, needing nowadays to show their ability to adapt to the constant changes in our profession.

For this purpose, embedded in the inaugural sessions of the Design degree at BBAA, from ADP the Round Table has been organized to share and discuss the future of these unions, determine its functions, define preferences among professionals and above all, allow current designers to give their opinion in a debate space thought to acknowledge their main concerns.

In an academic context all through-out the event will establish links among consolidated professionals, teachers and students that initiate and are the verge of finishing their studies, giving room to an enriching debate from different and diverse perspectives; all of them fundamental to our profession.
