As a member of the founding nucleus of EINA, Román Gubern gives classes in cinema. He has collaborated frequently since 1971, although in the format of seminars rather than subjects. Gubern's lessons at EINA are precursors insofar as, on the one hand, they represent the introduction in Barcelona of the sociological analysis of mass communication and, on the other, the semiotic theories of the image.
