Lluïsot, professor of the Postgraduate Diploma in Narrative Illustration for Children's and Teenagers' Publications at EINA, presents his book ' Retrato creativo o el arte de perder amigos’ (Creative Portrait or the Art of Losing Friends) on Thursday 15th June at 7.45 pm at Taller Fosforito (C/ Bruniquer, 29-31).
In this publication you will learn, not so much to represent reality as we see it, but to acquire the bases and knowledge necessary to freely develop your creative instinct on paper. Hairstyles, accessories and moustaches, facial features, shoes and patterns, compositions, wefts, colours... In this informal manual you will find an endless number of graphic resources to help you lose your fear of drawing and start experimenting with the art of creative portraiture.
Prior to the presentation of the book, at 5.30 pm at the same place, Lluïsot will give the workshop 'Portrait of the human figure', which is part of the Disbauxa Drawing Festival. In this workshop, he will teach you the tricks and simple techniques to draw a person's whole body, from the head to the shoes, with special attention to the hands.
