Rubén Alcaraz, Manager of the EINA Archive, together with Juan Alonso, audiovisual archivist with the Historical Archives of the European Union, have published the Image Management Software guide as part of the Short Guides collection of the ICA-PAAG Working Group (Photographic and Audiovisual Archives Group) of the International Council on Archives.

The aim of the guide is to provide readers with an overview of the principal types of software available for digital image management in the archives, and to offer criteria that will give professionals in this field guidance in selecting the most suitable tool for each case.
The guide is complemented by a list of 24 apps that will be updated as new image management related software solutions appear.
