Students of the second year degree, within the subject Ephimeral spaces design, participated in Lluèrnia, an intensive 6 hours festival of fire and light, celebrated in Olot, last November 7th.

The selected project, named " sensorial incommodity ", by Margarita Pérez, Mar Senén, Júlia Vendrell and Mariona Vilardell, had the preliminary intention of creating a disturbing and dynamic atmosphere provoking an incommodity sensation and confusion by means of light fans in space.

These ventilators bare different color leds that generate with their blades’ movement, lines of color which increment the speed sensation within the space. To achieve this uneasy effect, fans are grouped in higher density on the back of the room and move forward, increasingly dispersed toward the viewer. Thus , the very sound of the fan and the union of all, helps to create this atmosphere."

"Incomoditat Sensorial"

The unselected projects may also still be seen in room 15 of the Museu de la Garrotxa, until November 22nd.
