The project by EINA student, Sònia Vivó, in the subject Properties and Uses of New Materials in Design can be seen in the exhibit "What’s next?: The materials that will shape the future” promoted by Materfad, where the projects featured represent the innovations in new materials applied to engineering, arquitecture and design.
The project presented by Vivó is the result of research developed with FIDU TECHNOLOGY beholding the objective of analysing in-depth the innovative technique of the transformation of materials. Investigation in the first place, has focused on the caracteristics and properties of the material itself to later explore the transformation technique. Currently the technique of blowing-up treated metal, registered as “Fidu technology”, is a Zieta patent and to date the experimentation of the technology has been done in basis to three materials: stainless steel, copper and aluminum.
