Prize-winning illustrations in the collaboration with Jamboree

On 1 March, the illustration prizes of the first edition of the collaboration with Jamboree were awarded.

The commission consisted of asking EINA students to think of a space renovation project that framed the bar in the club based on a graphic intervention proposal for the space. The proposals were tutored by Jordi Duró, on the Bachelor’s Degree in Design, and José Luis Merino, on the Postgraduate Diploma in Creative Illustration and Visual Communication Techniques.

A jury comprised of Josep Bagà, Manel Rubiales, Oriol Pibernat and Joan Mas + Carme Saltó (from the Mas i Mas group) awarded the prizes to the following proposals:

• 1st prize:
  Pamela Calero and Marcela Perrone - € 2,000 + free admission for concerts and to the club for 1 year + application of the proposal to the bar area.

• 2nd prize:
  Guillem Arderius - Free admission for concerts and to the club for 1 year + application of the proposal to the dance area.

• 3rd prize:
  Maria Queraltó - Free admission for concerts and to the club for 1 year + application of the proposal to an area in the club.

The competition will be repeated every year, in line with the EINA - Jamboree collaboration agreement.
