This publication is the first anthology of authors in the Catalan genre on the unusual, a field that brings together everything from science fiction, terror, fantasy... to magic realism. Extraordinàries features the following authors: Maria Arazo, Elena Bartomeu, Àngels Blasco, Roser Cabré-Verdiell, Esperança Carrió, Eva Espinosa, Gemma Martí, Anna Martínez Inés MacPherson, Muntsa Mimó, Gemma Nafria, Elena Polanco, Aina Riera, Laura Tomàs and Cristina Xifra.
The myths as creators of social order (Espinosa), the right or not of science to do anything with the excuse of the common good (Polanco), or what would happen in a society where products were only marketed to be touched rather than seen or smelled (Bartomeu) are some of the heterogeneous themes of the stories in Extraordinàries.
