Queralt Guinart, a 4th year Bachelor’s Degree in Design student, has been invited, along with four more illustrators, to "Leave your creativity in our hands", a collaborative design project in which the WO Barcelona store's shutters will be shown.
As a Final Project for the Industrial Engineering Degree at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya related to Barcelona and design, the use of Design Thinking and Lean Startup has been attempted to verify its success in a traditional store model such as a designer goods store. Research is done to see if these methodologies are an effective framework for innovation and attempts are made to align the tools and methods of this approach in a traditional store, all while helping the founder to develop a product or service to present.
This entails the experimental test for a new collaborative event format. The activity aims to establish a link between designers and clients in a hands-on lab of illustrations, free and open to all. At the end of the activity, the winning illustration will be painted live on the store's shutters.
