Estados de latencia

MURAD students present their artistic research projects at Àngels Barcelona

The exhibitions Estados de latencia: Propiedades en procesos de transformación and Hilacha: Umbrales Hápticos bring together the work developed by students of Eina’s University Master’s Degree in Research in Art and Design (MURAD). The two exhibitions, held at Espai 2 at Àngels Barcelona (Carrer dels Àngels, 16), focus on creative processes and methodologies in contemporary artistic research.

The first exhibition, Estados de latencia: Propiedades en procesos de transformación, opened on 27 May and explored states of transformation linked to materials, ideas and personal experiences, highlighting the creative process as a space for experimentation and critical thinking.

The second exhibition, Hilacha: Umbrales Hápticos, will take place on 4 and 5 June and proposes an exploration of the relationships between body, matter and perception, investigating the boundaries between the tangible and the intangible through contemporary artistic practices and research processes developed throughout the academic year.

The opening of Hilacha: Umbrales Hápticos will be held on 4 June from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm and will include, at 7 pm, the performance DJ Set We need more DJ’s and Curators by Unfunny_Curator.

Both exhibitions offer an insight into the research processes developed by the master’s students throughout the year, bringing together methodologies, practices and reflections that reaffirm artistic creation as a tool for knowledge production and contemporary research.
