The students on the Digital Representations Applied to Space and Volume Design course in the 2nd year of the EINA Bachelor’s Degree in Design have taken part in the masterclass in product and object lighting given by Nani Pujol, professional photographer, and Jordi Esteve, product designer.
The aim of the session was to provide students with the fundamental concepts they need to be able to take on projects during their bachelor’s degree and enhance the representative power that their images have. The session looked at basic concepts in object and product photography: light sources, shadow types, construction materials and how to light them, as well as others such as intention, composition, weight and rhythm.
