Manel Esclusa, coordinator and teacher on the Postgraduate in Photography and Editorial Design at EINA, together with other photographers, is exhibiting some of his work in the exhibition ‘Creative’ Photography in Catalonia (1973-1982).
"This show presents the emergence of a generation of photographers who demanded recognition of ‘creative’ or signature photography as an independent art within the institutional and artistic establishment of the 1970s and early 1980s. It goes from the opening of Spectrum, the first gallery specializing in photography in Spain, which opened in Barcelona in 1973, to the staging of the Photographic Spring in 1982”.
