The MACBA Foundation organises a new edition of its Conference on Artistic Institutions and Sustainability, to be held on 25 June in the museum's Auditorium.
This meeting focuses on responsible programming, sustainable management and innovation in cultural processes. Participants include Francesca Thyssen-Bornemisza, founder of TBA21; Sofía Hernández Chong Cuy, director of the Kunstinstituut Melly (Netherlands); and representatives from centres such as the CCCB, the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza, Es Baluard Museu and the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León (MUSAC). The day includes inaugural talks, round tables and interviews on responsible programming, sustainability in management and institutional innovation.
Access is free with prior registration, and simultaneous translation will be provided in English and Spanish. This edition complements the MACBA Foundation's efforts to consolidate a more ecological, resilient and socially responsible cultural community.
