Friday 12 July will see the Local Design and Production Conference being held at EINA's facilities, a get-together organised by PapelyPixel, a group of design professionals and teachers that was started in Bilbao in 2012. Local Design and Production aims to be a get-together of design professionals and students, with the participation of Basque and Catalan professionals, including EINA teachers Tània Costa, Albert Crispi, Martí Ferré, Lluc Massaguer, Jordi Peraferrer, Anna Pujadas, Dolors Soriano and former graphic design student Pau Llop. The aim is to consider and debate the subject of local design towards global design: if local design and production really is a trend that currently exists in the sector, while also presenting evidence of these considerations in the form of projects and experiences of various designers in their design process.
