LlumBCN - Santi Vilanova

Santi Vilanova, professor of Creació Digital at EINA, participated with his studio Playmodes in LlumBCN, a light urban Festival in Barcelona. The participating project "Axial" an audiovisual immersion space designed for the occasion.   “Through the digital manipulation of 16 motorized light axis, dynamic illuminated architectures are created evolving, in times and spaces, into living shapes. The sound design of the resulting work becomes inseparable from the dynamics of the illumination by following its same system of logic, giving place to speaking geometries; architectures of light and sound that embrace the audience with a shape dance performance”.
